This week it looks like Bushiroad are continuing with their Rewrite Harvest Festa! previews, but they’ve finally stopped with all the Climax combos. Instead Bushiroad are having a bit of fun with the previews today.
“Spirit of a NEET”, Akane
Yellow / Level 1 / Cost 1 / 6500 / 1 Soul / No Trigger
«魔法 Magic» / «オカルト Occult»
[ACT] [Put this card to the Waiting Room] Choose 1 of your characters and return it to Hand.
On its surface this Akane card might not seem all that useful, because why would you want to bounce your own cards? However it could find uses for reusing effects that only apply when they’re played from the Hand. You’ll probably only want to bounce cards without to heavy a cost to play, since otherwise you’ll end up severely depleting your Stock. However this might be worth it for effects like Heal, since keeping in the game longer will give you a greater chance of winning in the end.
Even if you never use Akane’s effect she can still hit things, since she still has 6500 attack, which isn’t too bad during Level 1.
“Yosshino’s Ideal”, Super Yoshino
Yellow / Level 2 / Cost 1 / 7500 / 1 Soul / 1 Soul Trigger
«不良 Delinquent» / «覚醒 Awakening»
[CONT] The [Mach Knuckle Conma Zero] Events in your Hand gain [Counter].
[AUTO] This ability can activate up to 1 time in 1 turn. When you Play an Event, this card gains Power +2000 for that turn.
Before starting we of course need to know what the Event card in question does. It’s a 2/0 which gives one of your characters Power +3000 and Soul +2. This means Yoshino will give you access to a free +3000 counter, which will allow you to save a lot on Stock. In addition if you used the Event on Yoshino he’ll gain an extra 2000, pushing him up to 12500.
Under other circumstances his power boost from Event cards can also be useful. For starters if you use an Event Counter to protect another character he’ll still get a +2000. This means that for the price of one card you could save two of your characters from defeat. If it’s your turn you can use any Event card you like and Yoshino will hit 9500, meaning that in an Event heavy deck he can consistently hit high power for a cheap cost.
True Darkness Wolf Dragon Fenrir Dragoon and the Happy Demons
Red / Level 1 / Cost 2 / 7500 / 1 Soul / 1 Soul Trigger
This is pretty much a joke PR card. It’s the most powerful type of Level 1 vanilla, but I’m sure you’d play it more for the name and the art than anything else.
