Weiβ Schwarz Card of the Day: 20th of July

To end the week we have a new pair of  iM@S card for Miki, one a Level 3, the other a Level 0.

Awakening genius, Miki

Red / Level 3 / Cost 2 / 10000 / 2 Soul / 1 Soul Trigger

«音楽 Music» / «愛 Love»

[AUTO] When this card is played from your Hand to your Stage, draw up to 2 cards, then discard 1 card from your Hand to your Waiting Room.
[AUTO] [(4), Send 1 “Marionette Heart” from your Climax Zone to your Waiting Room] When this card declares an attack, you may pay the cost. If you do so Stand this card.

This first Miki can be a powerful game ender if you have enough Stock to use all her abilities. Firstly instead of Heal she allows you to draw 2 and discard 1, meaning you’ll gain 1 card in the process. This can be quite useful late game, however be wary that you could draw a Climax card, although in this case you may actually want to draw a Climax card, provided it’s Marionette Heart, since it’ll allow you to set off her Climax combo.

The Climax combo for Miki comes at a hefty cost of 4 stock and a Climax card, but could very easily end the game. If you leave attacking with her until last you also don’t need to worry about your other characters missing out on the bonus from the Climax card either (assuming it boosts the entire Stage). Getting an extra attack can be very useful, since sometimes the outcome of a game can hinge on the outcome of a single attack. I’m sure we’ve all had times a game winning attack has been cancelled, only to lose on the next turn. With an extra attack you can get a 2nd shot at that game winning attack. Another possibility is using this ability to turn an other unwinnable situation around. Sometimes you just cannot do enough damage in a turn with 3 attacks to win a game, and by getting a 4th you can hopefully change this.

Secret talent? Miki

Red / Level 0 / Cost 0 / 2500 / 1 Soul / No Trigger

«音楽 Music» / «愛 Love»

[AUTO] (1), Discard 1 card from your Hand to your Waiting Room] When this card is played from your Hand to your Stage, you may pay the cost. If you do so, select one «音楽 Music» character from your Waiting Room and return it to your Hand.

Our 2nd Miki card is an easy way to retrieve «音楽 Music» characters from your Waiting Room, which could prove useful during any point in the game. Not only does it allow you to grab useful cards back which you lost earlier in the game, but you can also dump dead cards, unwanted Climaxes, or Change targets to the Waiting Room. She also has a somewhat decent attack score, meaning she can be used to take out suiciders or similar whilst saving your more powerful cards for other uses.
